Spring/summer 2020

This collection was a collaboration between myself and a room full of designers, including Nami Henson, Lauryn Taylor, and Yolanda Thi Ngo.

Inspired by our mutual love of summertime, this collection was designed for the Cotton Inc. grant. UNT's Fashion Design program partnered with Cotton Inc. to sponsor a competition between the students. The students were divided into groups and designed mini-collections using cotton fabrics, all provided for by Cotton Inc. My group won!

Each member of my group designed one ensemble and followed its progress throughout the semester. Although I was not team leader, it was my responsibility to coordinate with each designer and select fabrics for the each individual garment to make the whole collection cohesive.

Yolanda designed the white dress. Lauryn designed the white top and blue skirt. Nami designed the blue top and blue jeans.  I designed the matching black and white rose denim crop top and shorts.
